THE HARI ART PRIZE - Hong Kong, 2023

THE HARI ART PRIZE - Hong Kong, 2023
The Hari Hong Kong is pleased to announce the winners of The Hari Art Prize 2023. From 27 September to 17 December, the exhibition will showcase the five selected art pieces and ceramics, created by the well-known local artists. Guests can embark on a journey of discovery and dine surrounded by artworks in The Lounge and Zoku. In collaboration with A Space For Art, the Prize provides participants with the highest level of exposure and the perfect opportunity to showcase their work to the public.

"Derealization" by artist Inna Wegener depicts a disconnection from reality, causing a disorientation of the mental state and altering what was once perceived as normal. It represents a conscious disconnection from the surrounding world that anyone can encounter in their lifetime, an experience of something that feels real but isn't. This effect can cause colors and shapes to appear displaced due to changes in the observer's point of view, and historically, it has helped propel our understanding of the universe.

“Art has long been in the DNA of The Hari brand and is one of the core pillars of The Hari Hong Kong. It has been a pleasure to partner with A Space For Art to shine a light on the outstanding artistic talent in Hong Kong. We believe in the power of art to inspire and set the stage for young talents, contributing to propel the vitality of the art scene in Hong Kong.”
